The new
Barcelona 2016-17 third kit introduces a bold design that draws inspiration from many
iconic, teal-colored away shirts worn by the club since the 1990s. Made
by Nike, the new Barcelona 16-17 third kit is set to be launched
shortly, two months after the new Barça home and away jerseys.
For the moment, the Barcelona 2016-2017 third shirt boasts a sponsor-less look just like the Barcelona 16-17 home and away
jerseys did when they were first released. However, altohugh fans will
be able to purchase this possibly clearner look, the Barcelona players'
kits will feature the Qatar Airways sponsor.

The Nike Barcelona 2016-17
third jersey combines teal ('Energy') with mint green ('Green Glow') in a
gradient design akin to that of the Manchester City 2016-17 third kit.
Black is used for the Nike, Beko and Unicef logos on the Barcelona
16-17 third
football shirts, while the Qatar Airways sponsor is white.
Based on Nike's Vapor kit template with AeroSwift technology, the
Barcelona 2016-17 third shirt sees a thin stripe run down on each side
and features a cut-and-sew neckline.
The shorts and socks of the Barcelona 2016-2017 third kit are also mint green, while black is used as secondary color.

Kappa produced the Barcelona kits between 1992 and 1998 and often opted
for teal as Barcelona away kit color. Nike took over from 1998 and used
teal, combined with a blue-and-red chest band, itself for the 2010-11
Barcelona away shirt.
